RUNOPOLISMiles make cities

The idea behind the weekly race for runners and cities.

Connect with Strava

We import your public Strava profile and public runs via OAuth, and show name, photo, and kilometer totals on public leaderboards. You can withdraw and delete in Runopolis or revoke access in Strava. By connecting you also agree to the Terms.

Why Runopolis exists

One run.Two finish lines.

Run for yourself. Run for your city. Every kilometer you log can move two names up the standings: yours and the place you run.

Connect with Strava

“Your legs. Your streets. Your city on top.”

The Runopolis manifesto

From activity to standings

How the race works

01

Connect

Connect Strava and import your public runs and trail runs.

02

Locate

Each activity is matched to the city where it started.

03

Compete

Distance counts toward both runner and city leaderboards.

04

Reset

A fresh race starts every Monday at 00:00 UTC.

The scoring

Every kilometer counts

We count distance from Strava runs and trail runs in the selected period. City totals combine every imported run that started there. Profiles keep your wider running history; the race stays focused on this week.

The promise

Public, without the route

Your name, photo, and kilometer totals appear on public leaderboards and your profile. Full route maps are never published. Read the Privacy Policy and Terms.
